ABOUT US:
P4PD stands for Palestinians for Peace & Democracy. It was started by Mr. Mohammad Alatar in San Antonio, TX in 2001 and in the year 2004, the Houston Chapter was created after Sahar Abusada’s visit to the Holy Land; during which P4PD sponsored Arun Gandhi to visit Palestine and hold the biggest peace rally in Ramallah.
As of June 2009, P4PD moved its headquarters to Houston, TX.  We are a pioneering national not-for-profit 501-C organization which provides a variety of high quality and sustainable services, for low income and economically active small scale enterprises and micro entrepreneurs, especially women. We provide such services through a high caliber staff and an advanced infrastructure to contribute in the effort of family empowerment and community development in Palestine.
P4PD’s OBJECTIVES:

  • To inform people about Palestinian issues, culture, and society
  • To encourage people to think critically and thoughtfully about the conditions under which the Palestinian people live
  • To discuss Palestinian issues involving students, educators, non-profit and for profit organizations
  • To advance efforts towards a just and lasting peace between Palestine and Israel

P4PD’s MISSION STATEMENT:
P4PD is a grassroots movement dedicated to educating the public about the plight of the Palestinian people and their struggle toward freedom and statehood.
A just and lasting peace in the Holy Land is the ultimate goal for the movement.
We seek to empower the Palestinian people to create their own democracy based on the rule of law and the respect of human rights.
Those who share our values are invited to join us in our efforts to achieve freedom and a lasting peace with respect for human dignity for all. Please help us by donating or volunteesring  with our organization.
