From August 23-August 30 2004 Arun Gandhi will head a delegation to Jordan, Israel and Palestine to carry his grandfather's legacy of nonviolent resistance to the people of the Holy Land. This blog will be updated daily during the tour.

 | Today Arun Gandhi had breakfast with members of the Palestinian Legislative Council and civil society. He then toured the old city of Jerusalem: in the background of the photograph to the left is the Dome of the Rock and the Western Wall. He also met with representitives of the Waqf, the Latin Patriarch, Michael Sabbah, and visited with prisoner families who are supporting the prisoners hunger strike.
